Bay State MGA Club

Dear Prospective Member:

Our club is dedicated to the preservation and enjoyment of the 1955-1962 MG, commonly referred to as the MGA, however, we encourage all MG owners and non-owners to join our club. We have many exciting club events planned during the year including a tech session, driving tours, MG Car Day at the Museum of Transportation, and a trip to The British Invasion, Stowe, Vt. We are an informal club and enjoy getting together to discuss our cars, restoration projects, and the inevitable “Sunday drive” that didn’t end on a positive note!!

You ask what do I get for my dues? Well you get our newsletter, which is published once a month in the British Marque Club News. The British Marque is a monthly newspaper that services all British car clubs all over the U.S. and keeps you abreast of all of the events throughout the New England area and beyond. Did I mention that we are also the sponsor of MG Car Day in August at the Museum of Transportation in Brookline, MA where between 75 – 100 MG’s gather to strut their stuff!!

We are also the local chapter of NAMGAR, the North American MGA Register. The Register was established in 1975, with the sole objective of promoting the restoration, preservation, and enjoyment of the MGA. As of 2003, over 6000 MGA’s have been registered, with a standing membership of nearly 2000. While NAMGAR was created to specifically serve the North American MGA enthusiast, it now boasts a worldwide membership with over 15 countries represented. NAMGAR's award winning publication, MGA! is produced bimonthly, and provides information on parts sources, technical assistance, classifieds, and interesting feature articles of interest to MGA owners and enthusiasts.
